Reading a comic on a phone should not mean pinching at a PDF.
Comics are drawn as layered artwork and then flattened into a page, which is fine on paper and poor on a phone. This reader goes back to the layered source and re-composites it per panel, so the same page can be read panel-by-panel on a small screen and whole on a large one, without maintaining two versions of the art.
It builds straight from the same source files the print edition ships from — so there is no separate digital master to keep in sync, and no moment where the two quietly diverge.
Still being built. It is here because the approach is the interesting part, not because it is finished.
